…comes from John 3:30 “He must increase, but I must decrease” In world that thrives
on drawing attention to ourselves, we strive to do the opposite by drawing attention
to Christ. As a church, Faith Pentecostal must FADE out so that Christ might be
able to become the focus. Our goal is to do this through these four ideas:
Freedom - John 8:32 “and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free”.
In a world where people are pressured on every side, we want to offer true freedom
to all people through Jesus Christ.
Acceptance - Matt. 11:28 “Then Jesus said, ‘Come to me, all of you who are weary
and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest’”. We want to open our doors,
our hearts, and our arms to all those who are lost and searching for hope.
Direction - 2 Tim. 3:16 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable
for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”. Bringing
someone to Christ is the first step. There must be teaching and mentoring. We desire
to teach people to live an overcoming life continually.
Encouragement - Hebrews 10:25 “Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of
some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near”.
Everyone needs a cheerleader at times in their life. We want to be behind you,
cheering you on, in your walk with God.
